Kristina W. Cheung has garnered a spot in the competitive study abroad program at the Intercollegiate Center for Classical Studies next year. We wish her all of the best during her time abroad.

Founded in 1965 by Brooks Otis, a former UNC faculty member, the Centro grants students the opportunity to intensively study Classics while exploring archaeological sites and museums. Staffed by some of the world’s most imminent scholars, the Centro is the product of a consortium of number of American colleges and universities, including UNC. Since the school’s founding, numerous UNC students and faculty have studied and taught at the Centro.
