Keith is currently a fourth-year PhD candidate in Classics at UNC Chapel Hill.  Previously he earned a BA in Classics from UC Davis and an MA in Greek from UNC with a thesis titled “Eἰ δὴ καλῶς: Knowledge, Pessimism, and Fate in Sophocles’ Trachiniae.”

His research interests are primarily in Hellenistic poetry, but also extend to Archaic epic, tragedy, and Augustan poetry.  His work within these fields often focuses on issues of time and space, gender, narrative and poetic voice, and metaliterature.
