Anderson Wiltshire, Entering Class of 2005
Anderson entered the program at UNC in 2005, having graduated from Vanderbilt University earlier that year with a B.A. in Classical Languages. While at Vanderbilt he wrote his senior thesis on irrumatio in Catullus and Martial, for which he won the Undergraduate Winkler Prize in 2005.
Anderson's current research interests are primarily epic and first-century BC Latin poetry. He is writing his Master's thesis
on necessity in the tragedies of Aeschylus.
