Patrice Rankine, Professor of Classics at UVA, addresses CLAS 720 class

On October 29, 2020, UNC Classics hosted Prof. Patrice Rankine in a Zoom Q&A with graduate students and faculty during a class session of CLAS 720: “Methods, Resources and Perspectives”. Patrice Rankine is Professor of Classics and Dean of Arts and Sciences at the University of Richmond in Virginia, and a leading scholar in the area of classical reception and Black Classicisms. His call for self-reflection and community-engaged scholarship as integral to a healthy future for classical studies inspired and energized his audience.
