Mathias Hanses (Pennsylvania State University) will present a lecture in Prof. Bob Babcock’s Cicero class, LATN 222 on Friday the 11th of February at 2:30 p.m. His talk will be on W.E.B. Du Bois’ The Souls of Black Folk and Cicero’s Pro Archia. Classics students, faculty, and friends are welcome to join the Zoom session, and can get the link from Prof Babcock (rbabcockATemailDOTuncDOTedu). Prof. Hanses requests that those attending read Cicero’s speech in English in advance.
