Last weekend, Emily Baragwanath had the honor of presenting at a conference titled “Creolizing the Greeks: Inventions, Resistances, and Transformations”. The conference was hosted by the Department of Philosophy at Penn State University and organized by Christopher Moore and Eduardo Menieta. It was held from November 4th-November 5th. Dr. Baragwanath presented a paper on “Creolizing the Greeks in Herodotus”. Pictured below is a flyer with additional details on the event and its other speakers.
