Gates-Foster lectures for UNC Humanities Spotlight on Scholars

Jennifer Gates-Foster will share her archaeological field experiences from Egypt and Isreal at Flyleaf Books as part of the UNC Humanities Spotlight on Scholars series 4:30 p.m. Tues., Oct. 7. Prof. Gates-Foster will discuss her work with pottery from excavations in Egypt’s Eastern Desert at the Ptolemaic gold mine of Samut and as co-director of excavations of a 3rd to 5th-century settlement in Omrit, Israel.

The cost of the program is $18 for those who register in advance, $8 for members of the UNC General Alumni Association, or $20 if purchased at the door.
